Basic opening and closing operation due to the pressure exerted by the existing water in the pipe. The valve is suitable for:

  • Air venting at system start-up, while pipes are being filled
  • Air ingress when shutting down the system, while the pipes are being drained
  • Release of pressurized air pockets during system operation
