-Electric activation.
-Fast activation.
-Simply design, construction and operation.
-Stable and accurate control of the flow.
The pilot is controlled by the solenoid. This opens or closes the flow passing therethrough by an electrical impulse.
The pressure reducing valve is activated by the line pressure and regulated by the pilot valve. This includes a diaphragm that controls the opening or closing of the main valve by the pressure downstream, sending more or less pressure to the control chamber of the main valve.
If the downstream pressure drops below the set at the pilot valve opens increasing the previously fixed output pressure in the pilot. When downstream pressure rises above the set at the pilot valve it tends to reduce the flow of water to decrease the pressure set at the pilot.
The pressure reducing electric valve is automatically controlled by a programmer, performing the same function as the manual valve but at a remote distance.
